Ruth Wilson (born 13 January 1982) is an English actress. She is known for her performances in ''Suburban Shootout'' (2005), ''Jane Eyre'' (2006), and as Alice Morgan in the BBC TV psychological crime drama ''Luther'' since 2010. She has also appeared in ''Anna Karenina'' (2012), ''The Lone Ranger'' (2013), and ''Saving Mr. Banks'' (2013). In 2014, she had a voice role in ''Locke'' and a central role in the Showtime series ''The Affair''.
